I read an article today that gave a really great idea:When in Doubt, Do Something. you know those times when you just need a little break, so you start a different project. Then you leave that one half-way done for a different project. He made a list of little 5 minute jobs to do that would improve his workspace, like pick one book from the bookshelf to give away and check to see if your pens work. Once he did a few of these he was ready to focus on his project. Wouldn't it be great to go through days and really finish those projects?

At my writer's meeting yesterday we were talking about stress and how fast life seems to be moving these days. Things people wanted to do weren't getting done. We can only do so much. It is our responsibility to narrow our life down to what is important to us and align with our purposes and our values. We also have to say no to what distracts us. What has been distracting you lately from what you want to do?
