I was showing Jeff the itty bitty lettuce leaves popping out of the garden, when two cardinals zoomed next to us. We watched as two brightly colored males chased each other in a circle. Round and round over our wooden fence, behind the fence, through our trees and right in front of us. Too fast to get a picture. I called the kids out to watch. They laughed and giggled at the spectacle. They must have been circling for about 15 minutes before moving into a figure eight then finally one was left to rest in our tree. The other one must have admitted defeat and flew off.Post a Comment
